SAMUELSTYPE DESKTOP FONTS – License Agreement.
By installing or using Samuelstype OpenType fonts (OTF), you agree to the following terms. Together with the purchase receipt, this Agreement forms the complete contract between you and Samuelstype Design AB (hereafter’Samuelstype’).

Permitted Use.
You may install and use the licensed fonts on a computer or tablet to create images on fixed-size surfaces, such as screens, paper, websites, mobile devices, photographs, film credits, and printed material. All fonts are licensed for commercial use. You may create scalable drawings with the licensed fonts, provided that the files are used only by the household or company holding the license. Fonts may be used for movie credits and broadcast titles if all users involved are covered under a Desktop license. If fonts are used for commercial merchandise (e.g., t-shirts, mugs, posters, clothing), logos, wordmarks, monograms, trademarks, or taglines, an extended license may be required. Use in political campaigns, political messaging, or by political parties, organizations, or lobbying groups requires prior written approval from Samuelstype.
Number of Users.
The number of simultaneous users is limited to the amount specified in the purchase receipt. All users must belong to the same company or household.
Third-Party Use.
You may provide the fonts to printers or service providers working on your behalf only if they: Use the fonts exclusively for your project, Agree to the terms of this Agreement, and Delete all copies once the work is completed. You may not otherwise distribute, share, or grant access to the fonts to third parties.
Embedding.
You may embed fonts in documents sent to third parties, provided they may only view and print (not edit or reuse) the fonts. Embedding fonts in software or hardware products intended for distribution requires a separate license. Contact Samuelstype for details. Embedding in mobile apps, video games, or similar platforms may also require a different license (see the Mobile App License).
Conversion and Modification.
You may import individual characters as graphical objects into a drawing program and modify those objects. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the fonts themselves without prior written consent from Samuelstype.
Copyright.
The fonts and related materials are copyrighted and contain proprietary trade secrets of Samuelstype. Unauthorized copying, even if modified or merged with other software, is strictly prohibited. You may be held legally liable for any infringement resulting from failure to comply with this Agreement. All rights not expressly granted under this licence are reserved to Samuelstype.
Termination.
This Agreement remains valid until terminated. It will automatically terminate if you breach its terms. Upon termination, you must delete all fonts and copies, including modified versions.
Warranty and Disclaimer.
Samuelstype warrants that the fonts are free of material defects under normal use for 14 days from the date on your receipt. If defects are found, Samuelstype may either replace the fonts or refund the purchase price, provided you return the defective fonts with proof of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, theft, or loss. Replacement fonts are also covered for 14 days. Except as stated above, the fonts are provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose. You bear the entire risk regarding quality and performance. Samuelstype does not guarantee that the fonts will meet your requirements or function without errors. SAMUELSTYPE DOES NOT WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OR RESULTS YOU MAY OBTAIN BY USING THE FONT SOFTWARE. THE FOREGOING STATES THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR SAMUELSTYPE'S BREACH OF WARRANTY. EXCEPT FOR THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY, SAMUELSTYPE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL SAMUELSTYPE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE (I) FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR LOST SAVINGS, EVEN IF SAMUELSTYPE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR (II) FOR ANY CLAIM AGAINST YOU BY ANY THIRD PARTY SEEKING SUCH DAMAGES EVEN IF SAMUELSTYPE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Severability.
Samuelstype reserves the right to amend or modify this Agreement at any time and without prior notification. Any modifications will preserve the original permitted uses of this Agreement. Modifications may account for changes in technology that would otherwise impair or render obsolete provisions in this Agreement. Modifications shall not be applied retroactively and any original intended use cases will not be void as a result of any modifications.

This Agreement is governed by Swedish law.

SAMUELSTYPE WEBFONTS – License Agreement.
By installing or using Samuelstype Webfonts (WOFF/WOFF2), you agree to the terms of this Agreement. Together with your purchase receipt, this Agreement forms the complete contract between you and Samuelstype Design AB (hereafter named ’Samuelstype’). This End User License Agreement for Web Use (“Web EULA”) applies specifically to Samuelstype Webfonts. By using the licensed Webfont(s) on any HTML website or web page (“Website”), the purchaser (the “Licensee”) accepts the following terms:

Usage.
The licensed Webfont(s) may be used on any website owned or controlled by the Licensee under a single domain name, including subdomains. Monthly page views for all such websites must not exceed the number specified in your purchase receipt. Agencies (e.g., design firms or hosting providers) may not share a single Webfont license across multiple clients’ websites. Styled Content: Webfonts may be used on websites where visitors create text content styled with the licensed fonts, provided that the styled content cannot be exported or used outside the website. This includes restrictions against generating merchandise, PDFs, image files, or personalized products. Newsletters: Webfonts may also be used in newsletters. When licensing, you must specify the number of monthly email opens. If used both on websites and in newsletters, the license must cover the combined total of page views and monthly opens. Additional Conditions: Any font selection interface on the website must display the fonts’ original names. Use of Webfonts for political campaigns, messaging, or by political organizations or lobbying groups requires prior written approval from Samuelstype.
Conversion and Modifications.
You may not convert or edit the licensed Webfonts except for creating subsets. Samuelstype will neither provide subsetted fonts nor software to create subsets, nor support subsetted fonts. Any subsetted fonts you create under this clause will be subject to the full terms and conditions of this Agreement. Use of the Webfonts with alternative technologies (e.g., sIFR, Cufón, Typeface.js) is not permitted.
File Protection.
You must take reasonable measures to ensure Webfonts are only used for styling text on your licensed domains. Examples of such measures include: Blocking hotlinking by unauthorized third parties, Preventing direct downloads of the Webfonts unrelated to text styling on licensed domains.
Copyright.
The licensed Webfonts remain the property of Samuelstype. Unauthorized copying or use is strictly prohibited. You may be held legally responsible for any infringement of intellectual property rights caused by failing to comply with this Agreement. All rights not expressly granted under this licence are reserved to Samuelstype.
Termination.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with its provisions. Upon termination, you must delete all fonts and copies, including any modified versions.

Severability.

SAMUELSTYPE MOBILE APP FONTS – License Agreement.
By installing or using Samuelstype Mobile App Fonts (TTF/OTF), you agree to the terms of this Agreement. Together with your purchase receipt, this Agreement forms the complete contract between you and Samuelstype Design AB (hereafter named ’Samuelstype’).

License Grant.
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable license to: Embed the Font Software into an iOS, Android, or Windows RT application, limited to a single application platform. Ensure the embedding is secure so that end users cannot access the fonts outside of the application. Distribute the application worldwide (subject to export restrictions in Section 9 of the Terms and Conditions). All rights not expressly granted remain with Samuelstype.
Restrictions on Use.
The number of distinct applications embedding the Font Software may not exceed the number specified in your license. Each version of an application released on a different platform (e.g., iOS vs Android) is considered a separate application. You may not embed the fonts in applications that: Generate files or outputs (PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, labeled photos, images, ads, etc.), or Function as a server component in a client/server setup. Fonts must not represent a primary or substantial feature of the application. Fonts may not be made available as open-source or included in any Publicly Available Software agreements. Political use (campaigns, messaging, lobbying) requires prior written approval from Samuelstype. If any Application requires its users to register to install and/or use it, all of your licensed Applications may only be distributed up to, in the aggregate, 25,000 registered users.
Alterations.
You may not alter the fonts to add new functionality. You may not modify or override embedding bits if the fonts indicate restrictions on use.
Transfer.
You may not rent, lease, sublicense, lend, or distribute the fonts in any form. Businesses or organizations must, upon request, provide documentation within 30 days proving compliance with licensing terms.
Copies.
Copying the fonts is prohibited except for making a reasonable number of backups for archival purposes. You must maintain exclusive control over such copies. All permitted copies must include the original copyright, trademark, and proprietary notices. Upon termination, all originals and copies must be destroyed.
Intellectual Property Rights.
The Font Software is protected by Swedish and international copyright and intellectual property laws. Samuelstype retains all ownership rights, including structure, code, and design. Any unauthorized use, including adaptation, modification, translation, conversion, or creation of derivative works, constitutes infringement. Reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly is prohibited, except where EU or similar laws explicitly allow it for the sole purpose of achieving interoperability (and only if Samuelstype does not provide the necessary information free of charge upon request).
Trademarks.
Trademarks must be used according to accepted practice, including proper attribution of ownership. Trademarks may only be used to identify printed output from the Font Software. You gain no ownership rights to any trademarks. You may not alter or create new trademark or trade name designations for the Font Software.
Termination.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically without notice if you breach any provision. Upon termination, you must delete all fonts and copies, including modified versions.
